Data Protection

Data Protection Policy

This policy explains the scope, nature and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by IQ Projektmanagement GmbH on this website. The legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Data and Server Logfiles

The provider (or ISP) collects data on each access (as server log files). Such data includes:

name of the requested Web page, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notifications of complete retrieval, browser type and version, user OS, referrer URL (previously visited page), IP address and USP.

The provider will use the log data for statistical evaluation for the purposes of operation, security, and service optimisation only. The provider reserves the right to check this data if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use of the site and its content.

Use of Personal Data

Personal information is defined as information that can be traced back to a person. This includes name, email address or telephone numbers but can also include data on preferences, hobbies, membership or browsing history. Such data will only be used and passed on if required by law or consented to by the user.

Getting in Touch

If using a Contact Form or simlar, the information included therein will be used to process any request or questions.

Integration of Services and Third Party Content

Sometimes, information can be linked from third parties, including sites such as YouTube, Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics. The provider assumes that in cases of referral, the IP address is correct. Without such, information could not be relayed to the user's browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of any content. We have no control over the third parties' use for the presented data or Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small files that allow the storage of device or user specific information, used to increase the user-friendliness, relevancy and accuracy of websites thus benefiting the user. They also serve to capture statistical data of use, allowing analysis to further increase the effectiveness of the website. The user can opt out of this but the website may not function as well as designed in this case. Please see for the US or in the UK.

This website uses Piwik, an open-source software for statistical analysis of site usage. Piwik uses Cookies, described above, which are stored on the provider's server in Germany. The IP address is made anonymous immediately after processing and before storage.

Revocation, Changes, Corrections and Updates

The user has the right to obtain, free of charge, exactly what data is stored about him or her. In addition, the user has the right to correct any inaccurate data or block or delete any part of it.
